I opened the academic planning worksheet on Penn InTouch and noticed that I have some credits coming in from AP exams. What do these credits go toward in terms of general education requirements--electives? Also, one of the courses I am taking does not fulfill any of the sectors or foundational approaches. Does that mean it is counted as an elective credit?

Thanks!

Only from from each sector can be satisfied by AP Credits, I think. At least it’s that way for Wharton. For example, if you got credit for both AP Bio and AP Chem like I did, one credit fulfilled Science & Technology, while the other satisfied an elective. If you meet with your counselor, he/she will go through the spreadsheet with you and place the AP credits where they belong. Hope this helps!
