That’s so helpful!!! I wish I had seen it earlier.
I actually used some of these techniques in the test, but it is not as clear as to see a comprehensive analysis like this!!! I am so bad in CR… I hope I could raise my score to 600 in Dec one…
Thank you so much!

It’s a really Helpful analysis !!
I believe it would really Help me tackle the CR tricks and beat the CR part .
I’m really thankful for your great effort
keep it up m8 :D

thanks m8 !! (Y) so useful

This was a great post. I don’t have a method of answering my Critical Reading questions. I’m going to implement this method when I take the SAT next time.

Great analysis. Sure, It’ll improve my score greatly in December.

This is like the best “technique” I’ve ever read. Thanks PSVicki. :)

Glad it’s helping! Someone sent me a private message claiming that I didn’t give credit to the original source of this. But I am the author of three SAT prep books, and I assure everyone this is a summary of my original material. Good luck December test takers!

Thank you for this!

Thanks a bunch! although I did see this too late for my December one :/

Where the hell was this thread a week ago? =[ Would’ve been useful

Wow PSVicki. This is really, really impressive. This trumps any SAT book I’ve seen to date in the last seven years. I would buy your books ten times over if this is the content inside them. Way better than Shaan Patel’s 2400 in just 7 Steps in my honest opinion.

Mad props, PSVicki. This is just beautiful. Thanks. This’ll help me a lot on the January 2013 exam.

Thank You So Much! Put these techniques on a paper in front of me and did a few practice sessions. Just 2 wrong from 5 sections. Brilliant! :D

thanks for the help!

I posted a while ago, and completely forgot about it until I was looking through all the posts I’ve ever posted.

My previous post on this thread was regarding me being scared about my 640 in CR. I read this post and clearly benefited greatly from it.

While your post is not the only factor for my increase, it certainly had a great effect. So thank you, PSVicki, for helping to bring my CR score from a 640 up to a 720.

:)

Awesome news, Infiniteloop! I am so glad this is helping so many. Sometimes it’s hard to get feedback from high school students, but you all are the best. Happy Holidays!

I love you.

Well, I love this thread, but same difference. Thanks :]

This is quite helpful in combination to http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-preparation/750399-how-attack-sat-critical-reading-section-effectively.html
