what was ?
was "almanac" the answer to the navigation question?
do you remember the question?

all i remember is that something bout almanac was an answer and something about using the stars for navigation

I was stuck between "rejected a familiar landmark" and "invented a guide that could be used on earth and sea."

I remember putting almanac for that question.

i got almanac

For some reason, this December test is very disorganized- I think it's because of all the hoopla over exp sections and confusion. And perhaps, all the smart people were smart enough to take their tests before December. :)

Is anyone organized/disciplined enough to compile answers into a single post so there isn't so much...chaos? That way it would be much easier. It doesn't have to go sequentially, just under passages, etc.

I'll start off with questions I remember. It's all word association in my blurry mind.

Korean Mother/Hands

tender= soft

hands, intellectual---doctor

soothing lullibies...familiarity

Nature/Gardening

Traditional philosophers have used nature as.....

free of human influence?
complex?

Privacy

technology has a dark side....meaning.....morbid? mysterious? concealed?( was that a choice even?)

it was ominous... who else got almanac?

What was the question for almanac? I remembered getting "orient themselves in the sea" for one of them.

it was that question... i didnt put that choice, and i had a good reason, but i forgot the question.....

it was ominious.
it was not almanac tho.
it was something else.

traditional philosophers --> free of human influence. It talked about gardening being artificial.

dark --> ominous. Morbid made no sense.

I think traditional philosophers should be "literary succesors"

^ Different question. Walden's descendants were literary successors who were led out of the garden.

it was almanac....
it stated it like 2 lines later. o_o

^ amen amen amen amen amen amen amen amen

What was the full answer for "almanac," because I saw that the word was near the lines that were directed in the question but the rest of the answer didn't make much sense...

dont remember but im pretty sure it made sense... the others didnt

Was the question like what was longitude used for?

no .
