Most of the time I get full/ perfect scores on CR, but that is when I don't do under time pressure. When I do that under time-pressure I miss some (3-4) of the last questions.
Also I got nervous on my last SAT (CR sec only). Please suggest how to complete under time pressure and avoid nervousness. I want an 800 CR.

Please don't suggest speed reading because that's not working for me.

When you get perfect score on CR in your practice, do you get more time than you should, or do you finish in time but just without the pressure?

If you’re having issues fitting it in the time limit:
(I just do this with practice tests when I really don’t feel like spending the whole morning doing it, and it doesn’t affect my score)

I go to the questions, see what lines/vocab words are mentioned, and go and underline those lines in the passage. (I don’t look at the question/think about it because doing that can mess up your thinking.) Then when I get to it when I’m reading I answer that question.
I cuts down time for me about 10 minutes. But I never have a problem finishing CR, math is my issue with regards to time.

but yeah, if when you’re doing your practice tests you’re not practicing it under timed conditions, that’s a bad idea except at the very beginning of your prepping.

@iforgeteasiliy - I cross the time limit by 5 minutes.

@lonelywayfarer - You are right. My only mistake was “not” practicing CRs under time limit. Now I will focus only on practicing under time limit.
