<p>Hello. Will taking critical reasoning class in the spring hurt me if want to transfer into UCLA or UCI this coming fall(2011)? i took Writing class and math but i wasn't able to take the 2nd required english class yet...so..........what do you guys think?</p>

<p>I have a similar problem. And honestly, I don’t know what to tell you. Im taking my math requirement (it’s a pre req also) in the fall and so far I’ve heard that it does hurt your chances, but some say it doesn’t. If your’e taking it in the spring, this means that the class won’t be available for the adcoms to see, meaning it’s less information for them to base their decision on, meaning, yes it can hurt your chances unless you have a good excuse for this</p>
<p>there’s some leeway if you were taking major prereqs in the spring. however, the way i see the english&math prereqs, is that it’s preferable that they’re done prior to the spring. but like everyone else - i’m not sure if there’s an actual negative impact. ask your counselor - unless they…really suck. or even ask the UC itself.</p>
<p>It means you can’t TAG, if I were an admissions guy though this would be my thing: </p>
