Cross Country Times?

Hey, quick question! Is there a website (that I can't seem to find...) that shows the time needed in cross country to qualify for an Ivy League scholarship? I know it's general... but if you can't find general Ivy League stats, what about for Yale, Harvard, and Brown?

Thanks!

None of the ivy league schools give sports scholarships. Sorry!

Ivy League schools don’t offer Athletic Scholarships. What they offer, however, are “academic” based scholarships that will cover a coveted athlete’s school expenses. For instance, if Harvard is in need of a nationally recognized cross country runner, who also happens to have outstanding academics and SAT scores, then they’ll try and award you for your “academics” in order to be able to join the team. First, you need to talk to the coaches, have the grades and become a prospect for the school.

Toledo is correct - no Ivy League athletic scholarships, but most offer generous need based aid.

Re: times, go to the Athletic Recruit subforum and look for CC/Track threads such as this one http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/athletic-recruits/943987-d3-lac-cross-country-questions.html</a> or search for posts by riverrunner, an extremely helpful poster whose DD runs at Y.
