So I have just finished my first semester with A's in Math 115, EECS 183, and overall a 3.83 gpa. By the time this year will be over I will have all of the prerequisites done for cross-over applicants besides Physics 140/141 which I am taking at a college near where I live during the summer. What are the acceptance rates for the cross over to engineering? Is it hard to get into engineering? When do they tell you if they accept you? I want to be in CoE for Fall 2013 semester. I am applying to the IOE department.

It is easy to transfer to the CoE. Usually, a 3.0 GPA with solid grades in Math and the sciences is sufficient. You should have no trouble transferring with your 3.8+ GPA.

even if physics 140/141 wont be completed until the summer?

when do they notify you if you are accepted?

Do they look at your resume closely and your high school transcript?
