Crucial Financial Aid Question About Scholarship

I was awarded a 36K scholarship to NYU, called the "Liberal Studies Scholarship" . Clearly I'm planning on going through LSP for the next two years and then into a major. Here is the issues that arise from this:
1. Will this scholarship renew itself every year? That is, when I graduate in 2017, will I still have the scholarship?
2. Or does this scholarship end when my Liberal Studies classes end? I know that LSP typically lasts two years unless you get a liberal arts degree, so would I not have a scholarship after sophomore year?

It might be helpful to know that my EFC was 0, if that is helpful.

I'd appreciate a response ASAP - I want to go to NYU badly, but if this scholarship isn't available to me every year, then I cannot attend. Thanks guys!

Yes it should renew but call in and ask them!

Yes! I am in the exact same sitaution and was wondering the same thing! I’m going to call the Financial Aid Office tomorrow and figure all this out hopefully.
