Crunch time=taking 3 tests or 2

Taking the II's October 4th. Plan on finishing review for Math II by the end of this week. I'm also studying for the ACT for Sept 13.

I'm taking Lit II but have not started studying yet.

I was going to take USH or Chem for my 3rd test but after going through many threads on CC it seems like USH needs a few months at least to be adequatel prepared. I did fairly well on the test questions that CB has on their site for USH even though I haven't taken USH since 4 semesters ago. For Chem, I looked through a prep book and have found that 40% of the material on the test, I learn throughout this semester in my Chem II class, but I am extremely good at Chemistry so I may be able to learn/ study for these things in time.

Oct. 4 SAT II's are the first time I'll have taken any SAT II's and this scholarhsip I'm applying for has the Oct SAT as the last test date that it will allow you to submit and I need to submit at least two tests.

With that being said would I be better off just taking the Math II and the Lit which allows for more focus on both subjects or should I take a 3rd test in USH or Chem considering the amount of time I have left to study but also considering the fact that I don't do as well on Math II or Lit, that I have the option of submitting USH or Chem. Someone adept at probability tell me what route will give me test scores (on either 2 tests or 3) near or at 800. And if you think I should take 3 tests than what should the 3rd one be. USH granted I need to memorize a lot of arbitrary junk or Chem given that I'll have to learn new concepts that I haven't in areas such as thermodynamics and the respective formulas and principles of upper level Chemistry

Just so you know. Lit is really hard…maybe the hardest SATII and it’s something that you have to be already good at…it’s hard to improve
with that said
i think you should just take 2 (after 2, i was exhausted)
and you should do MathII and USH to be well rounded

I know someone with top scores who took three, got tired in the third round and then had to cancel the whole day even though the first tests had gone super. You don’t have the option of only canceling one score. Don’t make that mistake. Nothing wrong with taking a 3rd SATII in November or even December…and making arrangements to get that last score in to your schools…
PREPARE for each test unless you are a stone cold genius at a subject. They are short but can be picky. It does not take long to prep and the practice tests will give you a good idea of how you are doing. If you are taking the ACT…give it practice test at home time, too..it does not flow like the SAT at all..it is long and rewards perseverance and completion of each section.

Well I’m definitely so much more adept at English/Literature than I am at Math or concrete subjects so I actually feel the most comfortable with the Literature SAT II granted I have yet to open a book. But I think I’ll end up taking 2 and then taking more come November.

So new question for a Lit Prep Book: Kaplan or PR or something else. (I’m putting my foot down for a NO to Barrons)

I also noticed I have a misuse of the word “than” in my original post. Sorry to the OCD grammer freaks out there because I certainyla m one of them
