I think I saw like 3 threads regarding this topic since my senior year in high school, but there hasn't been a conclusive answer (?) Well, I'm debating between CS 70 and MATH 55, and I'm open to any kind advice. Thanks!

I'm taking Math 55 right now, if you have any questions. In general, I've heard that Math 55 is more math focused while Computer Science 70 is more computer science focused.

To be honest, I just want to take the easier version of discrete math :( I'm a computer science major, but I'm not too keen on taking a tougher load than I need to (call it backlash from my current semester).

I've heard that Math 55 is supposed to be easier. However it leaves out some concepts useful for computer programming, like big O notation. So there is some reason for taking the harder class.

Hm, I guess that's a legitimate point...That, and Math 55 is at 8AM :P I think I'll go with CS70 and suck it up. Thanks, Christopher.
