I went to Chapman for film production, but have become disinterested in that subject. I'm very interested in Computer Science now.

I am in the honors program here and would be able to complete that program as well as business and math minors and CS major if I stayed; however, Chapman doesn't have a particularly regarded program. (I've heard nothing bad about it either, but it's just very small.)

Chapman is a good university, and has national rankings in its business and (very much so) film programs, but I'm afraid that with a CS degree from Chapman, I won't stand out for grad school or job applications. I would be able to transfer to ASU (considerably more well regarded for CS) easily and cheaply, but since I've wasted a year in film school, might have difficulty completing ASU's CS degree, honors program, and aforementioned minors.

I could also likely transfer to other schools as well, but take cost very much into consideration.

High school stats:
SAT 2060
ACT 31
GPA 3.95/4.45

College GPA as of now:
3.8 (I could probably pick this up over the next year too)

I'd also like to note that I'm pretty driven and would work very, very hard wherever I go.

I'm wondering what my best option would be. That fancy honors and minors bundle from Chapman, or a CS degree and maybe a math minor from another school? (Use my stats and your judgment to consider what my transfer options would be (assume I'd write a brilliant essay (haha)).) Could I graduate from Chapman or ASU, then hit a really good school for grad?

I'm just afraid that I did a stupid little 'chase my dreams' thing, and missed out going to an Ivy or other upper-level school.

Thanks, world.
