CS major, UC chances, CA transfer student

i plan on applying to UCI and UCSD for CS only. all the other UC’s is either a reach for me or doesnt interest me at all. currently 3.4 gpa so far right now, IGETC completion and AS-T in Mathematics by the time i transfer out

it looks like a 3.4 is the TAG threshold for UCI so, definitely do that. No reason not to also apply to UCSD. I’d also apply to UCR and UCSC so you are sure to have an open door.

On that page you linked, that “Admit GPA Range” is from 25 percentile to 75 percentile, isnt it?
