CS plus Chemistry at LAS.

My main interest is computer science. But I also love chemistry. So I think this program will suit my needs. But I have a few questions.
I think computer science at LAS is same as at COE. Correct me if I'm wrong.
And then about the chemistry, will the coursework concentrate on interdisciplinary application of computer science in chemistry or is it just like a regular chemistry major?
It would be nice if it didn't concentrate on interdisciplinary work.

Thanks in advance :)

It is not interdisciplinary, its separate coursework.

And the difference between LAS and CoE CS is in the course requirements - i.e physics requirements for CoE and none for LAS. Recruiters don’t care about LAS vs CoE and sometimes they think you’re a double major.

So I can have the best of both worlds? Thanks!
So the coursework for Chem is less than that of a Chem major right?

Yes it’s less CS and less Chem than the majors alone.

Thanks a lot :)
