CSS Profile and College Expenses

<p>I am filling out the CSS Profile and I was wondering if transportation costs should be included as how much money my parents paid for my sister's education? I was also wondering if I should include the amount of money that my sister receives(financial aid) from her high school in the "How much did your parents pay for this person's education for the 2010-11 academic year? " question?</p>

<p>You do NOT include school awarded financial aid. Your PARENTS did not pay that!!</p>

<p>Just have them include what they DID pay…but be honest and be prepared to verify the amounts you put down if asked.</p>

<p>Then your parents need to add up what your sister received in scholarships and grants for this academic year and put that there.</p>
