I applied ED just a few hours ago and submitted my CSS. On the Cornell application booklet it says that the Profile will be sent electronically to Cornell within three weeks... does that mean that I should've submitted my Profile like three weeks ago? As in, did I submit mine too late?

ur way ahead of me. i wish i could answer ur question but i have no clue. i sumitted my supplement last week and will hopefully get my common app out this weekend. i know the css thing is a financial aid thing but thats all i know. what exactly do u have to do? and i was told all financial aid stuff is due february...was i misinformed?

Oh crap. Yeah, I haven't sent mine out yet either, mostly because I didn't even know I was applying until two weeks ago. Anyone have a definitive answer?

Well, my guidance counselor knows I just did this stuff and she didn't seem to think it was a problem. I'm sure that many people wait until late Oct. to submit stuff and it if was a problem it'd be emphasized on the website.

Haha, at least it appears that I'm not alone.

fascinated07 - for the CSS thing you have to go to collegeboard and fill out information about your finances in 2005 and estimate stuff for 2006 and a little bit for 2007. It probably wouldn't take long for most people but my parents know jack about their finances so...

I'll call the financial aid office on Monday to ask... otherwise, does anyone (perhaps an EDer from last year?) have a definitive answer?

i called them 2 days ago, they need us to do the CSS prifile online and submit it before NOv1, and the FAFSA you dont need to do it until Jan 1, so basically mail your Financial Application the whole tax return form from your parents and yeah...the CSS profile that's it.....
