CSS Profile Business/Farm Supplement Question

<p>Hi. I have been checking my college applications status (I did early decision) every couple days on the college's website since I submitted in early November. Today when I checked it showed a new item, the CSS Profile Business/Farm Supplement, and said it was incomplete. It says it was due on 11/15.</p>

<p>I was unaware of this extra form and didn't know I had to submit one because of my dads business until I checked my application status.</p>

<p>I will have the form completed and submitted by tomorrow, Nov. 30. My question is, how is this going to affect my application and financial aid? The rest of the CSS profile was in and submitted on time just not this extra supplement.</p>

<p>I don't want to get my hopes up that I got accepted just in case, but is it a good sign that they are looking over my financial aid closely enough to catch that? The school is not mailing decisions until Dec. 15 and I wouldn't think they would be looking into financial aid for me if I wasn't accepted. What do you think?</p>

<p>It’s financial aid’s job to make sure everyone’s file is in order. This is probably not a negative or positive sign. A missing business supplement is a big deal that can dramatically change a package, it’s just the kind of thing they need in order.</p>
