CSS Profile One parent US citizen, one non citizen living overseas

Hello I am a little confused on how I should report our taxes, pension etc. I am US citizen and still have 401K account in the UK and file US taxes every year, married filing spearately. Mu husband is not a citizen and therefor does not file US taxes, he is the major earner in the family. We do not live in the USA. Which box should I check when reporting? If I go down the US tax route then it expects both of us to fill in details of 1040 boxes etc Please help

@kelsmom I believe the info you linked was for the FAFSA. Would this be the same for the Profile? I’m guessing it would be…but asking.

Good question. I don’t know for a fact that it’s done the same way, but I think it is. It makes sense to me that it would be.

Hi, may I ask how did you eventually fill out the information? I’m in a similar situation where I’m a US citizen and file US taxes but my wife is a UK citizen (no US green card) and therefore does not file US taxes either as we live overseas.
