OK, this is probably a stupid question but:

I had to fill out the CSS for one of my DS's schools and it was due Dec 1st. Now he is applying to a couple of more schools that require the CSS submitted by Feb 1st. When I fill it out again do I have to refigure out my savings, retirement amounts, etc for the day I am filling it out for the 2nd time? or do I leave the figures from when I filled it out for the Dec 1st deadline?

Thanks!

I would use the same info for right now. You’ll have up update once you get your taxes done anyway. Others who actually know should weigh-in shortly.

Thanks for the info. Yes, true, it will need updating once I do my taxes. Again, that begs the question; when I do update it with the correct tax info do I just leave the other figures (401k info, 529 savings amount, cash info, etc.) alone and just leave those figures as they were when I first filled out the CSS form in November?

Personally I would just leave them alone unless there was been a big change in one of the accounts, cash, etc. - which, of course, leaves the definition of “big” up to you too though!

Thanks. Guess I’ll leave them alone.
