<p>SO the deadline was Feb 2nd for the school I am applying to. I submitted a few hours ago... At the time of me POSTING this thread, it is still the second where I am! (in California)</p>
<p>However, when I submitted my CSS it says submitted on the 3rd!!!</p>
<p>Will this affect me in any way? Should I email the school and explain this situation?</p>

<p>I would email the college and let them know that you submitted it on the 2nd your time and didn’t realize it would be counted as the 3rd. There is nothing you can do to change it but for the record whenever deadlines are concerned - make sure you are aware of what timezone they are in as that is the timezone that will determine if something was submitted by the deadline, not your timezone.</p>
<p>For most colleges, they only care about the day it’s processed/received, not sent. So you’re late either ways.</p>
