First off, sorry if this is the wrong section.

Hello, from my understanding, to be exempt from the English Placement Test you would need to score at least a 22 on the English portion of the ACT. I sent in my ACT scores last week with exactly a score of 22 on the English portion. I called in today asking if I was exempt or not, and the person who answered my call says I am required to score at least a 23 now. Is this true?

Thank you

If you check out the link below it states that, “A score of 22 or above on the American College Testing (ACT) English Test” means you don’t need to take the EPT.

yeah that’s what ive been thinking. i searched many sites that have all said i only needed a 22. i guess the person i called mistaken the english placement test for the math one.

thank you
