CSU DH Enrollment letter confusion

Hi, today my parent received a letter in the mail for CSU DH Enrollment Management and Student affairs it read:

“CSU Dominguez Hills welcomes you as a parent and XXX to our campus community. We are delighted that XXX has chosen to pursue a degree here, and we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming and enriching educational experience”

I’m just wondering what this means because I didn’t accept admissions on the DH portal. Is this just a generic letter that they send to all applicants?
Am I enrolled? Because I don’t want to be as of now since DH is my backup school and I am still awaiting other acceptance letters from other schools.

It sounds like a generic letter. To be enrolled, you have to accept the admissions and send a deposit. Even if you had accepted and sent money, you could still turn them down at a later date. You’d probably lose some, if not all, of your deposit, but you could still change your mind.
