Our daughter worked extremely hard for the last two years at the local city college with no guidance due to covid restrictions, sometimes going weeks before getting a rushed on-line counselor appointment. Her determination was unyielding and her grades outstanding, the entire family was proud.
She was accepted at numerous UC’s, and happily excepted her spot at Fullerton! She paid her enrollment deposit. She was contacted by a Fullerton counselor and enrolled in a group education path for her major and was beyond excited about her new path in education.
Today, out of nowhere, she received a email stating Fullerton has rescinded her enrollment due 2 missing credits? She is crushed and confused how this can happen…
If anyone knows the next steps she should take PLEASE REACH OUT.
Is she a Freshman or Transfer applicant?
- Contact admissions to find out what are the 2 missing credits
- Review her CSU application to make sure there was no error along with transcripts
- If indeed she is missing some credits, ask admissions if she can take them this summer to retain her acceptance?
If all else fails and there is no error on her part, you can file an appeal with supporting documentation.
If she is transfer and they do not approve the appeal, she can apply for Spring semester.
Transfer. Ironically she’s already enrolled in summer school to garner more education for what she loves. We are a bit dumb founded as they accepted her stated transcripts which haven’t changed at all.
Thank You!

Is anyone aware of exactly what is the “Supportive Pathway” program? It’s kind of vague on website “the program curriculum is designed to meet students needs by preparing them for GE coursework”- how? By doing what? It did mention about stretching courses over multiple terms, but I’m curious if anyone has more information on this program.
Could be extra support for non-traditional students, 1st-gen students or those that require additional time/assistance with math, science or other classes?
BTW, son accepted his CSUF offer and he’s looking forward to attending in the fall for CS! Stats are 3.82 CSU GPA, 3.6 UW, 4.1 W GPA, 5 APs, 2 dual-enrolled CC courses, track captain, moderate amount of EC and part-time work hours. He plans on living in the dorms at least his freshman year. Turned down CPP (CIS), CS: ASU, Sac State, Fresno State, SFSU, CSUN, Chico, CSULA. Rejected (CS): SDSU, SLO, SJSU (offered Spartan Pathways). Go Titans! Personally excited about going to visit occasionally to watch the strong hoops and baseball teams!
