CSU fullerton

Pateta---Speaking as a long-ago business grad from Fullerton, I can highly recommend the great education you will receive there. I personally know many very successful business executives with Cal State degrees. CSUF's business school is excellent. The thing to remember is this: your success after graduation will depend on your talent and your work ethic, not how much you spent on tuition. (Btw Kevin Costner is also a CSUF graduate.)Good luck!

I just visited CSU Fullerton.. and actually did not think I would like it based on the stats I had read up on about it beforehand.. when I first got to the school, I just kind of drove around and hated it.. but then I finally got out of the car and walked on campus.. and I actually -really- liked it. It's on my top list, along with USC and some others.. basically because I need an affordable option, if I don't get financial aid for USC. But seriously, I actually really liked it, the whole feel of it, and that was going into it completely ready to hate it. And also-- they only have 800 beds available in their dorms... so isn't it a commuter campus only because they don't have enough residence halls? That doesn't completely cancel out campus spirit, as most people are probably living in apartments around, and would thus still spend as much of their spare time around the school as those who lived in the dorms. But I'm also interested in hearing what anyone has to say about it, as I am considering it..

I also checked out Long Beach very briefly.. didn't spend too long there because, for some reason, I just didn't feel like I liked the school too much. So, my visit there crossed that option off the list for me.

CSUF is an excellent school for business but not tv/film. The professors are very good, the only problem is it is very big school, lots of students, you may get lost. There are apartments nearby that you could rent and walk to school.

Agree with professors being very good @ CSUF. Daughters favorite teacher was her Economics classes, taught by CSUF professor @ local community college. Heard students from other colleges (i.e. USC) take Economics from this teacher in summer school because he is so good.
