I will be transferring this spring to Cal State Northridge. Currently, I have been attending a community college doing all the general education and additional requirements for my major. As I was working on the spring 2012 application today, I noticed they only asked for the golden requirements which are A1, A2, A3, and B4 (oral com, written com, math, and critical thinking) of the cal state system GE requirement form. It also says that a "students must complete a minimum of 39 units of 48 required units to earn a bachelors degree from the CSU system". Currently I have completed 41 GE requirements and covered all of the areas except C-2 which is the humanities. I was wondering if this section would still be required for me to complete since I have over the 39 minimum GE units and it is not one of the 4 golden requirements. I am going to call the admissions office tomorrow to make sure, but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this subject.
