Cal Poly Pomona (Electrical Engineering) Transfer GE completion?

Hi all! I'm planning to apply to Cal Poly Pomona this fall and I wonder if I have to complete only "Golden four" courses, or I have to complete CSU GE Breadth.

Golden Four Courses: Oral Communication, Written Communication, Critical Thinking, and Mathematics/Quantitative Reasoning

I also went to see two different counselors at my college, and one of them said I only have to complete the golden four, the other one said I have to complete 30 units from CSU GE breadth.

Here are the links I'm looking now and got confused.

Impacted Programs

Anyone please tell me. Thank you!

You definitely have to complete the Golden Four… if anything from there is missing OR doesn’t transfer, you’ll be automatically denied. As for completing all GE courses, complete as much as you can. I’m missing 2 from my CSU GE certification, but I have the majority of my GE completed. I think that if you’re missing 2 or less you should be fine. My CSU just said that I can complete the last two GE at their school so no worries there. Remember that you have to have at least 60 transferrable units to transfer also! Hope this helps a little.

EDIT: For EE you HAVE to complete the supplemental courses to be considered for the major since it’s impacted. Make sure you do this!!!
