I was wondering if all the CSU’s only use your sophomore and junior grades when calculating your admissions GPA. Do they even glance at your freshman year’s grades and the first half of your senior year’s grades?
All CSU’s except SLO use 10-11th grades in a-g courses for their GPA calculation. SLO uses 9th grades also.
You self report all your grades and they will look at your Freshman grades to make sure you have taken some of the a-g course requirements. Senior grades are not available at time of application, but once accepted several CSU’s will ask for Mid-year transcripts which include your Senior grades 1st semester (CSUF/SDSU are two that I know will ask for Senior grades). Your final transcript will be due to the end of Senior year and again will be checked to make sure you meet all the a-g course requirements and have passed your classes with a C or above.
