Hey everyone, I am currently a high school senior and I was just wondering what the computer science program at CSU Monterey Bay is like. I have done some research and they have a program called CS++ and would like to get any student perspectives from it. I would also like to know how it ranks with other CSU computer science programs such as SDSU,CSULB,CPP.

Although not required for CS, CSUMB’s program is not accredited. The rest of the CSU’s you listed are ABET accredited.
Accreditation is a review process to determine if educational programs meet defined standards of quality. Once achieved, accreditation is not permanent—it is renewed periodically to ensure that the quality of the educational program is maintained. -
I would then look at the 4 year course curriculum at CSUMB in comparison to the other schools:

http://arweb.sdsu.edu/es/catalog/2012-13/parts/Computer%20Science.pdf
https://sunspot.sdsu.edu/pubred/!mymap.disp Type in year 2018 and select computer science for the 4 year plan.

objectively, the other schools you list are ‘better’ than CSUMB at CS… of course they are also more selective - and they aren’t in Monterrey CSUMB may be better for you.
Good luck.
