Csu not taking upper division transfer unless the units are completed in summer term?

Has this happened to anyone else. The csu i applied for said for spring 2015 they wont take upper division transfers unless you completed your 60 units by the summer term, not the fall. My counselor said to apply anyway because you never know. rules change or i might get lucky. Applications open august 1. Has this happened to anyone else?

I was told they do that because they is such a short window between the end of Fall and the start of Spring, there’s not a lot of time for verifications. Their offices are also closed for part of the break. They need to verify your final transcript grades, number of units, completion of Golden 4, and put together your FA award based on units completed.

Some CSUs let u finish in fall and others don’t.

thanks bud. im keeping my hopes up lol. 6 month to fall is long. idk what to do in that time lol

I was in the same predicament as you last year. I finished my AA in December, and didn’t want to sit around not in school for so long. I transferred to a CSU that was taking Spring transfers (who just completed in fall). I took a semesters worth of upper division classes, and now I’m transferring to UCLA. So in a way, I transferred twice.
