To be an occupational therapist, I have to obtain a Masters Degree. Which school system will better prepare me in a career in occupational therapy, a CSU or a UC?

Do you mean physical therapy or psychological therapy?

CSU’s typically have good programs and they are less expensive than UC’s.

^ Depends. If the student’s eligible for a Cal Grant (undergrad), they cost the same.

it’s occupational therapy, kind of like physical therapy but not exactly. I was also thinking CSU was a better choice because I’ll be able to take my Anatomy and Physiology prerequisites

My sister is an Occupational Therapist whom has been working in the field for several years and does not hold a Masters degree (must not have been required back then) . She attended Cal poly Pomona for undergrad and then attended Loma Linda’s OT program. She currently is in charge of a county rehab program. I would definitely recommend a CSU for undergrad studies. Good Luck
