Recently i decided that I really want to go to UCSB.
I currently go to Cal Poly Pomona because at first i liked the area and i didnt apply to any UCs but now I find that i dont fit in over here nor does it really give me the college experience i am looking for.
I cant transfer from Cal Poly to UCSB so i thought I might as well transfer to SBCC for a year then go to UCSB for two years.
I ran this to a couple of my friends and they discouraged me but i found that I would be in a better location, save a little bit of money, I wouldnt need a car cause i could just take the bus or bike everywhere, i could stay in the dorms in IV, and i would be in a much better school in the end.
I was wondering what peoples opinions were about transferring from Cal Poly Pomona to a community college but then transferring to a UC would be?
Thanks
