CSU to CC to UC question about past units/grades??????

<p>I have a question.</p>

<p>Ok so from Fall 2011-Spring 2012 I went to CSU Chico.</p>

<p>Didn't like it, dad got really sick, kept going back and forth from SoCal to NorCal missed a lot of work. Ended up with a 1.3 GPA.... I know horrible. High school GPA was a 3.8 nothing impressive but still.</p>

<p>Right now I have 23 units from my local community college. 3.75 GPA.</p>

<p>My question is, when you apply to UCs since they ask for ALL college transcripts. Will they combine my CSU Chico GPA with my current community college GPA???</p>

<p>Cause if that is the case, am I screwed??? I'm applying for Fall 2014.</p>

<p>I heard as long as the classes aren't transferrable they aren't included in your OVERALL GPA. And that since CSU classes don't match up with UC classes they won't transfer.</p>

<p>The classes I took there was</p>

<p>Philosophy 102 Logic and Critical Thinking, CMST 131 Speech Com Fundamentals, APCG 110 Computer Assisted Art, HUMN 224 Arts and IDeas Asia.</p>

<p>I need answers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>

<p>The only GPA that’ll come from your CSU are those that are transferable. If it isn’t transferable, then it won’t affect you. </p>

<p>It’s hard to say cause the UC’s don’t evaluate those classes until after you get there. So what you’re hoping to find here is someone that has taken those specific classes at Chico then transferred to where you want to transfer. Because just cause SB accepts it, doesn’t mean that LA will accept it. Your question is not a simple one that just anyone on here can answer. It’s very specific and you have to not get all filled with attitude when you don’t get the answer that you’re looking for.</p>

<p>None of the classes I took at CSU Chico are transferrable to my CC.</p>

<p>Doesn’t that mean it probably and 99% won’t get transferred to UCs?</p>
