<p>I'm a Freshman at CSU Stan. Honestly, I've never hated school as much as I do right now. I never wanted to go there in the first place but i kind of had no option. I want to transfer into UC Davis in fall of 2016. I got accepted there in high school and it was my full intention to go there right away but i couldn't for financial reasons. I had good grades, around 3.7 GPA and was involved in a lot of clubs and activities. Now however, I actually have the meas to attend that school. But I've heard it's so much harder to get into any uc if you transfer from a csu. is that true? So i was thinking of transferring to a community college nearby and then transferring to Davis from there. Would that seem like a reasonable plan? And i was hoping to transfer to the CC next summer ('15) and hopefully finish by spring term of '16. I'm just not sure how the whole transfer credits work and what courses need to be taken. I've looked into it and researched it but it's sort of confusing. Hoping someone could help me out? Any advice would help. :) </p>
<p>If you go to a CC then you can TAG into UCD as long as you meet the TAG requirements. CSU to UC’s are possible but in your situation, doing TAG would give the best chance. The problem with CSU to UC transfers is that many of the credits do not transfer and their is no assist.org to help with the CSU transfer. If you search UC Transfer thread, you will find some helpful tips on how to accomplish your plan. Good Luck.</p>
