csu to csu transfer

I spent 3 years at my cc and am currently in my first semester at san jose state (sjsu gpa is 0 since its my first semester). I got accepted to all the csu's I applied for last year except for the one I wanted to go to. I got waitlisted at slo with a 3.0 gpa, 3 associate transfer degrees and IGETC certification for materials eng major. Im not very comfortable in san jose, ive made friends, joined clubs and intramurals and am active in both but im just not feeling the vibe here at all. I know students from 4 year universities get last priority to transfer but I was wondering if I did have the slightest chance to get into slo or any other csu/uc. Thanks

CSU Transfers are done but, i think you’ll most schools won’t take more than 90 units earned elsewhere. They want you to earn your degree on their campus - not show up just for graduation ceremony. You are already a year behind. Any transfer at this point will probably put you even further behind schedule.

I’d say, make the most of where you are. Snag an internship and sign up for as many units as you can hande. Its just a couple of years. You can move someplace where you feel the vibe later.
