<p>EOPS is not the honors program. EOPS is basically an extension of financial aid. This program gives book vouchers and priority registration. Two very good things to take advantage of.</p>
<p>Only a fraction of the classes you will take are Honors classes. You must take 6 Honors classes, so one to two every semester.</p>
<p>I highly doubt you need to get a B+ in all pre-reqs, that person was probably mistaken. You need to get a C or better in all pre-reqs. You are only “banned” if your major GPA goes below 2.85</p>
<p>I signed a TAG to UCSB and was accepted from LACC. Complete Micro+Macroeconomics, one stats and one calc class, have a major GPA of 3.0+ and a cumulative GPA of 3.2+ and you will get in.</p>
