Are CSU and UC education systems the same?
Yes and no. UC’s have always been researched focused and will help prepare you for Grad school. CSU’s help you prepare to enter the work force but the lines have become a in that many CSU’s offer research opportunities also.

I am planning to go to medical school after 4 years of college. Does it matter if I go to CSU or UC when I apply to one?
Few CSU graduates go on to medical school. Some say that it is because medical schools do not like CSUs. However, since most CSUs are much less selective than UCs, CSU students are much less likely to be those capable to getting the high GPA and MCAT scores needed to have a chance of medical school admission.
