When you click on waitlist options, all it’s showing you is the OPTIONS. It is not stating that you are on the waitlist. That is, unless your “click here for more info” hyperlink page is showing that you are on the waitlist as well. I can see the options as well but have not received my decision as of yet. But I will say that the way they have worded these option descriptions tends to lead people to believe they are directed at the applicant when in fact it is only information.
All the parents and applicants are anxious right now and so am I!! @anthonydavis yeah dude its either it applies to everyone giving out info bout waitlist descriptions whatever it is idk like what @OhHeyThere69 said. Btw i asked my friend to check and she said she didnt see anything, however she said she was not able to click on the waitlist option button like what we had which is weird. She told me that only waitlisted people could click on it. This is so confusing
OhHeyThere69 - No, this is different. I’ve clicked on it in the past and it showed the options. This time it states that you have been put on the wait list. Like the others, the application status says still pending though. Sent an email to admissions, but I will call later today.

So I just got an email today that I was accepted for the honors program but I’m waitlisted for the admission ??

I spoke to admissions this morning, because my daughter had the “no decision made yet” and "wait list " confusion. They said that no decision has been made and that they would “try” to make all decisions by May 1st. No guarantee. They did say that non-local acceptance index was 4100 and that applicants should consider other colleges, that the student has already been accepted to because of hearing so late from Fullerton. It wasn’t reassuring at all. I asked why they were so far behind and she said that they started processing later this year.
Isn’t the SIR date for Cal States all May 1st, transfer or non transfer? I don’t mind not getting in because I am not a Fullerton local so I’d understand, but I wish they would release decisions already so I don’t have to keep getting frustrated. UC’s have been better at sending admissions for me!

I just looked up the transfer deadline schedule for CSUF, it says “FALL TERM DEADLINES to accept the offer of admission, submit the enrollment deposit (or waiver if eligible), and register for Orientation” and “Transfers: June 1…Applicants admitted after May 15th have two weeks from the date of admission, printed on the admit letter, to accept their admission offer.” So basically, transfer decisions from CSUF have the possibility of being given throughout May, which is later than the UC’s. Unbelievable…hang in there people.
Waitlisted today… Finally a decision was made and I can move forward to choosing a college. Good luck to all.

@mynameisstress They start choosing people from the waitlist in early may (after the deadline to accept/decline)…I’m waitlisted as well.
So than how does that work? i accept a school and wait to see if i get accepted to csuf than would i be able to decline the first school i accepted

Yes you can accept waitlist and accept a school all you have to do is decline the other and if you paid enrollment fee to another school most likely no refund
