***CSUF FALL 2018 DECISIONS***

Hi @mynameisstress !! I also applied as psychology, no reply yet tho  do you have any other schools you are interested in going to?

I still havenā€™t received anythingā€¦ Do they email you or are you supposed to check on the portal yourself? I have sent official transcripts to them three times, but they still havenā€™t sent me a decision letter. Iā€™m getting anxious.

@TheBibliophile94 I saw it on the portal. Still havenā€™t received an email and they never took my transcripts off the To Do List. Check portal at least once a day.

Rejected for psychology, not local applicant, donā€™t really mind as this wasnā€™t a school I was really looking to attend. Hope my rejection results in someoneā€™s acceptance. Good luck to all of you!

What is your gpa? Do you have AD-T too?

@NessiexWx Hey! I was reading your comment from about a week ago about the CSUF audit page. I decided to click on it and I canā€™t really find my GPA. Also, it says that a lot of my GE classes are unfulfilled! Iā€™m a transfer student from a CC and I most definitely have done all of these classes, yet it says unfulfilled. Iā€™m really worried as I got waitlisted on March 22 (I accepted the waitlist), but maybe this has something to do with getting waitlisted? I have a 3.43 GPA and Iā€™m a Business Admin - Accounting major with an AS-T.

@jlan97 are you a local? Iā€™m a local transfer from Fullerton College but I also have transcripts from a cc I attended in Florida a few years back. When I go into the audit page all Iā€™m able to see are the classes/requirements I fulfilled in Fullerton College even though I sent all my transcripts a LONG time ago and they were taken off my to do list. Iā€™m under the impression I can only see the gpa/audit courses that sort of automatically transferred because they already have those classes in their system (so the gpa in there for me is not 100% accurate but it was a good indication of what they were evaluating me at) and Iā€™ll have to wait to find out the rest once I meet with a counselor. Hope that helps!

@NessiexWx I think Iā€™m local? I go to Pasadena City College currently. And also, I just called and they said that itā€™s empty because they havenā€™t gone through my transcripts yet, but my transcripts have been sent so thatā€™s good. Iā€™m just worried about getting off the waitlist now. Got any words of reassurance? Thanks for the quick reply, too!

@jlan97 ok great! Thatā€™s kinda what I had in mind that if they donā€™t have the class agreement between colleges already in the system it might take a bit longer to process your accurate audit. Someone earlier in here said you could also check your gpa if you download your application from cal state apply but my audit gpa is much lower than my calculated gpa in cal state apply.

I wish I could be of more help and encouragement but my application for CSUF was also a mess. Got waitlisted then taken out of the waitlist two weeks after because I talked to my counselor and they contacted someone at CSUF as it seemed they had made a mistake in my application which was why I wasnā€™t originally admitted. I received my admission about a week or so ago but have heard that applications in general this semester have been all over the place, which doesnā€™t surprise me if youā€™ve noticed a few non local people here with lower gpaā€™s than some locals were admitted before some locals (remember this is an impacted campus).

In any case, I wish you the best of luck wherever you might end up going to school (hoping you get into CSUF!).
If you end up not admitted though, and you REALLY want to go CSUF as your number one choice (as it was my case), my counselor always said itā€™s better to be enrolled at Fullerton College and try to raise your gpa as much as possible before applying for transfer at CSUF than transferring from another cal state. You save money and have a higher chance at getting in because of the impaction!

@NessiexWx Thanks a lot! Iā€™m just a little curious on why I got waitlisted with that GPA and stuff. I got into CSULB as Business Admin and I heard that CSULB is harder to get into than CSUF. Hopefully I get off the waitlist tho. Thank you once again!

Has anyone received their award notice email yet?

of course not. This was my number one school to go to until this whole wait-list happened. With the whole campus being impacted we are likely not getting any decisions until after May 1st so I would choose a different college. They really shouldnā€™t be this unorganized.

It has been hellā€¦ Thatā€™s for sure. Waiting for any informationā€¦ Was placed on the general waitlist according to portal but no email; nothingā€¦ Graduate school; so worried. lol

Waitlist is taking a whileā€¦ anyone know when they will notify you? May? June?
Also, how do you know if they are providing financial aid for you? I donā€™t see anything in my portalā€¦

How does accepting Financial aid work? Iā€™ve never done it before. Iā€™m not able to click ā€œacceptā€ on the boxes and I have no ā€œto-dosā€ listed  Confused

Just got an email that direct admit for local undergraduate requires an EI of 3800. And that they would know in 2 weeks if they can utilize the waitlist.

Has anyone appealed and heard back yet?

nope ā€“ nothing back yet; what major/level? counseling masters program for me

@pikachu2018 & @jlan97 any news?

I was deciding between UCR and CSUF, I decided to go to CSUF. I just accepted it and Iā€™m looking forward to attending! 3.83 gpa, 1240 SAT.
