Does anyone know when the csuf waitlist will begin releasing?. I will be going in as a nursing major and got waitlisted.
What does it mean when you get accepted “with distinction”?
my son is also waitlisted but for computer science and waiting but nothing yet 
@liveincal I believe it means that you are coming in with at least a 3.5 GPA. Did you just get accepted from the waitlist? @veryworriedmama did your son get accepted anywhere else?

@Cgxoxo My D got her acceptance email on 3/29. I think there were several other students who updated that they got accepted that same day as well.
My daughter just got accepted from the waitlist and is now trying to apply for housing. Does anyone know what the options are if she does not get on campus housing as a freshman? We are not from the area, so commuting from home is not an option.
If she does not get on-campus housing there is a place called University House Fullerton at 555 N Commonwealth Ave about a half block south of the campus. The reviews of it are mixed but I visited and it is decent, however, it won’t have the supervision of the dorms. We did a housing tour at CSUF and I got the impression that it isn’t as difficult to get a spot as some of the other CSU campuses. Best of luck!

Just checked the portal and application status for my daughter. It no longer says she’s on the wait list, but has the message that was there previously, that a decision has not yet been made. Her Math and English requirement status has changed also. One says 0C and the other says exempt. Anyone else have this happen?
Does anyone know if waitlist acceptances are still going to be send out this week?
