@momisanxious My son has also been accepted to CSUSB. What about your daughter? Did she get off the waitlist? We’re still waiting and it’s stressing me out
@veryworriedmama My daughter is still on the waitlist and has not gotten into any other CSU. She got denied SDSU which was her first choice however is appealing the denial. Good luck to your son! Keep us posted!
@momisanxious Good luck with the appeal! We also did an appeal with CSUSB, it’s worth doing. Good luck to your daughter as well. Crossing fingers for them
@veryworriedmama still waiting as well. I just called and asked how much longer the wait would be, and she said all waitlisted applicants will have 7 days to accept or deny, so it’s all up to those students first. The wait is excruciating!
@chustinio Hopefully we all hear from them soon! The lady I spoke with said we should all get a response this week or next with an answer. Is this your first choice school?
My daughter is appealing. The portal says she was denied because she hadn’t met the college prep requirement for English, with a C- or better, which she has. Frustrating that they can’t process things correctly, causing more work on this end. The appeal process can take a month. Tried calling, but they make you do the whole appeal process.
@veryworriedmama That’s a little reassuring! Hopefully sooner than later. It is my first choice due to it being very close to my work and home, so hopefully it works out! Does your son have other options or just waiting on CSUF?
@chustinio My son has already been accepted to CSUSB but his first choice is CSUF. We are not local so if he goes to San Bernardino it will actually be closer. Either way would just like to get a response so we can plan. Hope it all works out for all of is

@Anxious27 I know how you feel. We did an appeal too with another college and it’s sad they would make errors. Stating my son had not met the a-g requirement when he clearly he has. It took them 2 weeks to respond and it was approved. Have the counselor email the school.
Great news. They sent an email that they corrected the mistake and she’s been admitted!!! Even got the official email from them in her home email! She is so excited. What a stressful day!

@veryworriedmama idk about @Anxious27 but I first checked the portal and when I clicked on “view details of application” or something like that, it said “congratulations you are admitted to CSU Fullerton!”
A couple hours later, I got the email.
Congrats @Anxious27! Does anyone know if CSUF pulls name off the waitlist weekly or daily? I think I’m driving myself crazy checking the portal MULTIPLE times a day.
@veryworriedmama Our situation was a little bit different because of the error they made. I got a direct email from someone in the admissions office and it was updated on the portal. We received the official email right away too.
