CSUF vs CSULB Communications 2018

I’ve serched this topic and noticed its been asked before but hasn’t been answered. So, my first and only choice has always been CSUF but because of the recommendation from my counselor, I applied to more than one place to transfer to. While waiting to hear back , I looked into CSULB and saw how beautiful it is and fell in love! The only problem was that I couldn’t find more info on their communications program. I got accepted to both schools and now I’m stuck. Which school is better??

both are good so, there’s no wrong choice. But, so are many others. What are your stats, budget and other interests?

You note you’ve been accepted by both - which is a little out of phase with their regular freshman admission cycle.
Can you elaborate a bit about your situation?

@NCalRent I’m a transfer student and both choices aren’t local but I have a place to stay while I’m in school. Budget wise I’m good. I’m just hoping for more insight with CSULB’s communications program. I’ve let some people know I’ve been accepted to both and most was in favor of CSULB only because it’s a little harder to get into compared to CSUF, but I think that’s all they’re focused on. I think both schools have a beautiful campus and they are similar in budget and area, that’s why it’s so hard for me to decide. The only thing that will help me determine that would be, which school has a better communications program. I’m looking to major in communications with a minor in linguistic and go towards a career in the military.

i’d suggest you spend some time more on both campuses - meet some students, talk to the department advisors. If you are still undecided, flip a coin. There’s no wrong choice here.

Indeed, you can’t go wrong with either. Just a matter of whether you’d rather sit in traffic on the 405 or the 57…
