So I am currently an undergrad pre-accounting major at CSUN, hoping to get into the program. But I don't know exactly how it works. I know I have to submit an application, but how do I know if I got in or not? Will they send me an email or mail a letter? Anyone who's applied into the CSUN Accounting Major, please help! What did you do and how do you know if you got in?

Hello Rosykid,

You don’t apply for the accountancy program until you are enrolled in Accounting 351 and to take that class, you have to pass the first upper division acct class which is Accounting 350. Make sure you have all the requirements for Accounting 350 which are listed here: <a href=“Accountancy, B.S. - Professional Accountancy”>http://www.csun.edu/catalog/academics/acct/programs/bs-accountancy/. If you do, go to the CSUN Acct website, http://www.csun.edu/acctis, and under useful links on the right side, you will see an application for Accounting 350. When the application opens up in January, you can apply for that class using the link.
