Hello CC,

I am going to be a freshman in September, and I really want to get the most out of my high school experience, by skipping some easy classes that I can learn by my self or I could take online. Because of this I decided to take CTY's Honors chemistry class outside of school starting now and ending in 3-4 months then after that taking the CTYonline AP Chemistry course during the intensive spring period and taking the AP test in May.

My schedule is as follows: (all honors where is possible)
Bio
Algebra 2
Mandarin 1
Freshman Lit and Comp
World Civ
Latin 1
Wellness 1
CTY Chem then when this is done
AP CTY Chem
Also some extracurricular

My questions are as follows:
Is this too much for a Freshman
Has any one ever taken a CTY AP class over the intensive spring? If so, is it doable?

Basically, by taking my normal class high school classes with CTY Chem half of the year and AP CTY Chem the other half, will I learn all of the Chemistry needed to get a 5 on the AP exam or am I better off taking AP Chem with my class mates when I am a sophomore?

Thanks everyone,
finalfrontier
