Hey guys I had a quick question here. I know for transfer gpa, it obviously only counts your units and grades for the units that can TRANSFER.

But I'm applying to a school (San Diego State University) as a transfer for this upcoming Fall 2014. On their website, for any major it says:

"Admission to the upper-division major requires a cumulative GPA at the indicated level."

On the website, the words 'cumulative GPA' are in bold. So are they saying they're going to be looking at CUMULATIVE GPA even though some classes are not even transferable?
If they do that could actually help me out quite a bit. Has anybody ever encountered this before?
Thanks everybody
