Cumulative GPA on Resume

I'm currently applying for internships, most has a 3.0+ GPA requirement. I transferred from one university to another. However my GPA at my old school is 3.2 and GPA from my current school is 2.95. My cumulative GPA of both schools is 3.12. Does this make me eligible to apply for the internship? How would I put the cumulative GPA on my resume, under the school I'm currently attending?

For example:

Boston University.... 01/09 to Present
B.S. in Finance, Minor Econ....... May 2011
Cumulative GPA: 3.12

UMass.... 09/07 to 12/08

B.S. in Finance..........

Would I do this?

Also, a Off Topic question:

When you email someone a resume? Do you attach a cover letter and resume and write something in the body of the email? I was told thats what we should be doing but I though it might be to repetitive. Or do I copy and paste the cover letter on to the body of the email?

Thanks!!

I would say use your cummulative overall since it’s not really cheating and it would average out to above a 3.

I have a similar question but as an HS student, my uw gpa is sub 3.0, weighted ~3.6, what should I put for an internship resume?
