Had the scariest moment earlier today. City College sent me an email saying they are pleased I applied so I thought it was a rejection
i mean who sends out an email saying they’ll make their decision in the next 3-4 weeks lol
@Mdelga11 when did you apply? I applied in mid-Jan and still haven’t heard absolutely nothing.

@cuchito I applied mid-November and all my documents were sent in the first week of January. I’m still anxious to hear back from the 4 other schools I applied to.

I sent my documents back in January too and now it doesn’t say anything. Neither missing documents nor application under review- just anything.

@cuchito My portal says the usual “Your application is complete. The college(s) in your list have their decisions.” Something like that, and it says a bit more. I forgot exactly what it said. Mine updated about 2 weeks ago
When your application is complete, and you call the CUNY hotline. Listen if it says “x” college’s name is complete. That may be the school that accepted you.
@TheSphere When I call CUNY hotline, they just say my application is complete and currently under review.
Well, you just go to wait it out!

Hi guys! I applied to CUNY on Nov 13 and have only got acceptances from Brooklyn and BMCC so far. I reallllly want to get in to Hunter and imm worried they still haven’t contacted me 
My stats are:
Gpa 86.5
SAT 1140/1600
Do you guys think i can get in hunter?? Really worried
If I applied mid January when am I supposed to get a response ?

@AyeshaRanjha hey, you should be able to get into Hunter with those stats.
@ Everyone, if you don’t get into the school of your choosing, I believe that there is a way to appeal their decision. I saw it on Brooklyn and Hunter’s website. But I’m not sure about the other schools. It’s good to check tho.
@cuchito if your portal says that your schools made a decision, you should hear from all of your schools within the next three or four weeks. If it doesn’t say anything, the latest you might hear back is mid April. if you still haven’t heard anything by them, you need to call the cuny hotline (don’t talk to the automated system) and talk to a admission person.

@cuchito yeah, it’s like a waiting game at this point. if you’re really that worried, it’s possible to call the schools you applied to and check your application status.
