which is better??

i believe Baruch

That's waaaaay too general a question. What are you looking to do with your degree?

Chris

finance related

become a i-banker

Why do you want to be an Investment Banker? This always appears to be the top choice amongst many high school students when most do not even know what it entails.

I hope you realize that with the dive the economy is taking and especially the financial sector, getting a lucrative job in i banking will be significantly harder than it already is. There are so many unemployed people right now with degrees and experience that can not land those jobs that hiring a fresh from college student in 4 years is not going to appeal to employers when they can have people with experience.

Also, you do not major in business if you want to go into Ibanking. You should major in Math or Econ, or finance, and take a lot of math courses. A theory and research based degree is better for that field. So because of that I would suggest SB as it is a research university with a stronger national prescence where as Baruch is only local, albeit being local in the financial capital . You will probably get a better foundation for not only i-banking but for a future career if Ibanking doesnt work out by going to SB (or if you change your mind- which most do).

Really you should provide more information, why do you want to be an Ibanker, what are your other fields of interest, etc.

Baruch. Our business dept is not that great.
