Hello everyone ,

Im currently enrolled at brooklyn college, 21 years old, upper junior with 96 credits after this semester. i am majoring in accounting. I am interested in mastering at baruch but chances of getting accepted as a bk college undergrad are slim. I was thinking of maybe transferring to baruch and finish my undergrad there and make it easier for me to get accepted in baruch's grad program. i would definitely lose credits but not many and it would push me back a year but at the end its worth it ... does anyone disagree, should i transfer, is it too late for me, any advice???

Thank you guys,

do it at the end, it’s worth it. BK college is not AASCB accreddited so it might be a problem. I have some friends at BK and I heard the career service is not that helpful. On the other hand, I recieved 3 job offers during my freshmen year using their Starr Career Service Center

are any of your friends studying accounting?! One of the head’s in the accounting department confirmed that bk coll is AASCB accredited in NY state ONLY which is fine and big 4’s always recruit here but again i’d rather be in baruch. I don’t think its late i can probably still gain experience doing internships while I’m studying so I’m leaning towards transferring…
