transferring from brooklyn college to baruch college, need advice!

hello everyone,

I am currently enrolled at brooklyn college. My major is accounting and i have 81 credits with a 2.73 gpa. My plan after was to apply for the ms program in accounting at baruch but it would be way too difficult with my current gpa although i'll probably hit a 3.0 by graduation. soo.. i was thinking maybe i transfer now while i'm still an undergrad to baruch which would increase my chances to get into their masters program. does anyone know how many credits would transfer over? would this be a good decision, is it too late? or should i just finish at brooklyn college and master there. I've been really stressed lately so any advice would be great.. Thanks everyone

I think the better question is, how did you get a 2.7 at BROOKLYN college? It is notoriously easy. I don’t think you can even transfer to Baruch with such a low GPA. I would stay.

my last 2 semesters i averaged a 3.7 gpa. I wasn’t focused my first two years. Baruch is accepting 2.5 minimum for transfer students. by the end of this semester i should be at a 2.9 in which i can use to appeal if they reject me. Head counselor at Baruch said i should get accepted either way. If i get accepted would it better to go to baruch most likely lose one year, better gpa and apply for masters?
