<p>My son is a very high achieving senior who wants to take pre-med. He wants Columbia (and has a good chance of making it) but there's no way we could afford it and we don't qualify for any financial aid. Would he have a better chance of getting into med school from Hunter College, or CUNY Macauley Honors than he would from say, Rutgers, St. John's, or Fordham?</p>
<p>I would suggest Macauley Honors @ Hunter College, if money is an issue. If you live in Jersey, then Rutgers.</p>
<p>St. John’s or Fordham will be no cheaper than Columbia.</p>
