I was curious as to whether or not the CUNY system is prejudiced against out of state transfers?

I have a 3.48 GPA and applied to Baruch, John Jay, and City College. However I am from CA so I was wondering if that is going to dampen my chances?

2 minute bump = epic fail.

Epic fail indeed

bump bump bump

All prospective students seeking transfer into the CUNY system are considered equally, regardless of where they currently live. The only caveat though pertains to instate tuition. Residency in New York State is based on where your parents live until you are 24 years of age, unless you can prove that you are financially independent and are no longer claimed by your parents for tax purposes. Hope that helps.

Ah thank you so much… I was just freaking out a bit because like 97 percent at Baruch is in state… Two more weeks and then the freaking out can end.
